Meghan Freas Memorial Award

This award was established in 2008 to honor the memory of former HACC theatre student, Meghan B. Freas, age 18, who died May 5, 2008 as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident. Meghan had a profound impact on the lives of her peers, professors, family and friends. She was very active in the theatre community, having appeared in productions with Theatre Harrisburg, and was a 2007 graduate of Camp Hill High School. In the spirit of embracing Meghan’s love for international travel, languages, and theatre, the Meghan B. Freas Award provides funding to Theatre majors at HACC who are interested in pursuing educational opportunities to study theatre abroad.
