Student Involvement - Election Distress Support Group

Are you concerned about the election results? Have you experienced distress, anxiety, or sadness surrounding this election season? Student Involvement will be hosting (3) one-hour online support groups surrounding Election Distress on Thursday, November 12th, during the following times: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 5 p.m. These groups will assist students in processing their feelings and expressing their emotions regarding the state of the current election results in a safe space. Information will also be provided to students regarding services available both on HACC Campuses and in the community. Also, coping strategies and self-care tips will be provided. Due to the limited group size, registration is required and can be completed via this link: Election Distress Support Group Registration (students only) The groups will be facilitated by Dr. Latinia Shell, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and the owner of Diversity Works- C.S.C.T., L.L.C. in Lancaster, PA.
