Child Care
HACC students have the ability to access child care services through U-GRO Learning Centers and Capital Area Head Start at participating campuses.
About U-GRO
- Refer to the Parent Handbook or visit www.u-gro.com. You will find a complete description of tuition and other policies.
- Weekly tuition is due on the Friday before the upcoming week of service. You may pay monthly tuition at a discount. For monthly payment, it is due on or before the 25th of the preceding month of service.
- Y ou can secure your child's enrollment with a non-refundable fee.
- U-GRO requires families to provide one-week written advance notice of withdrawal from program.
- U-GRO provides programming and snacks.
Harrisburg Campus (Pollock Childcare Center)
U-GRO Learning Centers manages HACC's Grace M. Pollock Early Childhood Education and Child Care Center. We manage it at the Harrisburg Campus.
- Care is available for infant through pre-school children of students, staff and community members.
- Care is available from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Special pricing is available for students.

Lancaster Campus:
U-GRO Learning Centers are located on the Lancaster Campus of HACC.
- Care is available for infant through pre-school children of students and community members.

About Capital Area Head Start
Care is available at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus in the Whitaker Building. Programming is available for children ages 3-5 for HACC students, faculty and community.
- HACC students receive priority.
- Care is Free to eligible families.
