I completed science courses. How long do I have to apply them to my health career program?
The accepted time limit for science courses (HACC or transfer) for use in health career program requirements is 7 calendar years from date of clinical start.
Transfer students please note: Biology 121 AND 122 must both be completed at the same institution; they do not transfer individually.
Can I get into the clinical portion if I have a criminal background?
If you have a criminal background, you may apply to the clinical portion of a health career program at HACC. You must follow the Prohibitive Offense Procedure (pdf) for Health Career Programs. No student will be admitted with a disqualifying criminal history or child abuse clearance. See your advisor. This form must be completed when a student is applying for clinicals (not before).
