HeartCode ACLS —$50.00
HeartCode PALS - $50.00
HeartCode PALS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students PALS knowledge and skills. To purchase the eLearning online activation code from the AHA, please select HeartCode PALS. You will receive an activation key which you will need to launch your course. After successfully completing the online portion, students must register to attend a structured PALS skills session with an AHA Instructor at HACC's Shumaker Public Safety Center. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. HeartCode PALS is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative method for completing an initial or renewal PALS Course. Purchasing the activation code from the AHA does not enroll you into a skills session. You must register for both separately; completing the online portion first.
When is registration due?
Registration for in-classroom ACLS/PALS training closes three weeks before the start date. Registration for the HeartCode skills sessions closes two weeks before the start date.
Payment is due at the time of registration. We do not accept on-site registrations.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) —$175.00 *UNAVAILABLE*
We highly recommend you possess an understanding of CPR, pharmacology and ECG rhythm interpretation skills before enrolling in this class. Tuition includes the American Heart Association PALS Provider textbook. The American Heart Association designed the PALS program to prepare healthcare and emergency medical services personnel to care for a critically ill child. The program emphasizes aggressive assessment and treatment of children in respiratory or cardiac arrest. This program also stresses the initial management and care issues of trauma and transfer.
