How do I get accepted into the clinical phase of (credit) programs?
  • Health career programs at HACC (link to program webpages) are selective and competitive professional programs.
  • Admission to HACC does not guarantee admission to the clinical part of the program.  You start as a pre-clinical student. Work with your advisor to prepare to apply to the clinical/core part of the program. It may include attending an information session and meeting with the program director.
  • All potential nursing students begin in the Pre-Health Professions Program. Students may apply for admission into the Registered Nursing Program or Practical Nursing Program once they meet the requirements to apply. Students will discuss these admission requirements as part of their advising process.
  • See program admission criteria for specific information - Health Career program clinical admission criteria.
